Description: I have a very large collection of books spanning many topics. A massive gathering of Philip K Dick titles and editions, as well as fine press, signed limited editions, modern firsts, radical movement and conceptual art items. I encourage you to browse my store and categories for a wide range of unique, quality offerings. Condition: SEE IMAGES. This is a solid VERY GOOD reading copy in VERY GOOD jacket. Although this book is not without it's cosmetic flaws, it presents well on shelf, and feels solid in hand. General shelfwear, bumping to the spine ends. Internally, NO markings. The dust jacket is rubbed, with creasing at the flap folds, scratching/scuffing to the rear panel, and some very minor tearing to the spine ends. NOT price-clipped. Otherwise, the jacket is visually attractive, covered with a brodart. Book feels firm in hand, and presents well on shelf. Book is preserved in an acid-free archival bag. About: This is the follow-up to The Jesus Incident. Great jacket art by Abe Echevarria. Fun Facts: Frank Herbert has a wide range of both novels and short-stories, although he is most widely known for Dune and his Dune series. Dune itself took over 6 years to research and write, and was originally published in 8 installments, before being rejected as a novel by nearly 20 publishers. Ultimately, it was picked up by Chilton Books. Dune went on to win both the Hugo and Nebula Awards, and the series continued for a total of 6 novels under Frank Hebert, and another 14+ novels written by other authors, including his son. It has been adapted to film and television, comics, graphic novels and other forms. I will happily answer any further questions. Making offers: I certainly can appreciate wanting a better deal, and I've made offers myself on my own purchases. To be up front, if and when you make an offer, I will automatically reject crazy low "give it away" offers. Best not to waste our time. With a more reasonable offer, I will review current pricing for other comparable items out there and either accept, counter or decline submitted offer. If in that review, I find my pricing is already LOW and outdated, I may then increase the price to bring more in line with other offerings. I spend a lot of time sourcing the best offerings, preparing the listings with images and clear descriptions, and price fairly in MOST cases. I remain grateful to all who consider my offerings, and I look forward to serving your needs respectfully and with success.
