Description: This UNREAD leather limited edition from The Franklin Mint is in VERY GOOD+ condition with no markings inside or out and no attached bookplates. There is a thin, shallow scratch on the cover(easily viewable in the picture). It is made extremely visible here by my use of bright natural light mixed with florescent. I use this lighting to highlight texture and detail in my pictures. But this minor scratch is not really visible under normal circumstances. This is a great edition with some of the best illustrations I've seen for this novel. A very Gothic vibe to the entire edition from cover design to illustrations and typography. Definitely one of the best all-round editions of The Scarlet Letter.
