This appears to be an earlier razor, it is definitely pre-1891, you can tell this by the lack of country or origin being stamped on the tang. As far as I can tell this razor has the original horn scales. The blade is wedge type. The blade is 5/8" wide. The blade has a barbers notch. I believe the scales are bone. This razor is in good shape for its age, and after restoration, can still be used to shave today. Whether you plan on keeping this safe as part of your collection, or using it for a high quality shave, this razor is a must have. This razor should be restored before use.
