Description: ITEM DESCRIPTION:Up for sale is a gorgeous antique hair comb/ornament dating to the 1930's or earlier. It is 4 1/4" long x 2 1/2" wide and is handcrafted from sterling silver with pave set marcasites. The top floral panel is 2" long x 2 1/2" wide and pivets on the attached 3" long celluloid hair comb. It is faintly marked "Sterling" and is believed to be German in origin although not marked. It is in very good condition with normal age tarnish and weighs 28 grams. ***Please note that my camera is cobalt blue and often makes polished surfaces look dark due to the reflection on the metal surface.*** SHIPPING:First class shipping, insurance, and handling in the US is $8. I am happy to ship multiple auction wins in the same package at the actual cost plus insurance. International shipping is through ebay’s global shipping program.
