Description: Good Buy For Someone On A Great Little Custom Knife That Needs TLC. Beautiful Custom Made Knife With A Mirror Polish Blade That Is Full Tang With Blade Portion Of 2 3/4" Long. Overall Knife Is 7 5/8". I Was Told Blade Was D2. Can't Say For Sure. Knife Is Not marked With Makers Name But It Appears To Be Well Made. I Bought The Knife In 2014 Because I Liked The Long Handle. Feels Great For Someone With Larger Hands. When I Got The Knife Out Of Display Case Recently, I See That One Of The Stainless Spacers In The Handle Has Fell Out. Of Course, Spacer Is Not To Be Found. One Other Spacer Is Loose So I Put A Piece Of Tape On It. See Pics. I Do Not Have The Expertise To Repair This The Way It Should Be And It's Too Nice Of A Knife To Not Use. Handle Is Made Of Some Type Open Grain Dark Brown Hardwood. Looks Like A Spacer Of Natural Bone And Red Liners Between The Stainless Spacers. Fit And Finish On This Knife Is Good. Transition From One Material To Another Is Smooth. One Area At Butt End Of Knife Spine Where Wood Meets Tang Is Just A Tiny Bit Proud. Handle And Blade Both Have Tiny Rubs Or Scratches From Handling And Storage. There Is A Mark On Wood Handle That Is Near One Of The Pins. It Is Not A Crack. Will Try For Close Up Picture. Knife Comes With A Well Made Bark River Leather Sheath That Does Fit The Knife Ok. A Project For Some Talented Individual Or Just Have Yourself A Great Little Skinner The Way It Is.
