Description: Heddon Bill Stanley #20 8.5’ 3 Piece 2 1/2F professionally restored to original condition using matching silk thread. The rod has 5 coats of a marine spar varnish and is very straight when disassembled the ferrules make an audible pop. I casted this rod and it throws either a 5 or 6 weight. The rod bag is original. The rod tube does not have a label so I don’t know if it’s original, but appears to be vintage. All guides were cleaned and buffed. They are all original to the rod. The mid section appears to be about 1” short but when I stripped the rod down to bare bamboo I could not find any evidence of this alteration.
