Vincent-Anglade”. Henri Vincent-Anglade (1876-1956) was a French painter and illustrator born in Bordeaux. He studied at the Ecole des Beaux-Arts in Paris with the famous French painter Gustave Moreau and exhibited at the Salon des Artistes Français. Henri Vincent-Anglade is listed in the Bénézit Dictionary of Artists, the renowned and very extensive publication of biographical information on visual artists in all fields. He is also listed in numerous art databases and in the sold listings of various auction houses. This lithograph is one of a series of portraits of mothers and children created by Vincent-Anglade and titled “Maternité”.
