Description: Up for your consideration is this Fine Art Masterpiece of popotillo straw art! The title is: "La Mujer Dormida"! "The Sleeping Woman" in English. The detail is quite stunning in this work of art by One of Mexico's greatest popotillo straw artists in it's history! In my humble opinion, this master artist is better than the famous Olay family of straw artists from Mexico. I havent seen better detail in any of the other well known straw artists works. I had misplaced this work of art for 15 years. I thought I had sold it. It happened so that I had it in a friend's climate controled storage unit and had forgotten all about it. It was found while he was looking for some of his belongings and thus found it in a container that belonged to me. It was a great surprise and sadly I no longer have the space to hang it. So it is up for grabs. The image size is 17"x 11" and the outside frame dimensions are 23-1/2" x 19-1/2". The frame was custom built by yours truly. The trim has miniature pyramids that surround the whole frame. Observe the detail. This masterpiece is in pristine condition! You would be hard pressed to find a better one. What bothers me the most is that I can't find the paper document with the artist's name. I will try to find it or find out who this master is or was.
