All rod ends and mounting bushings are CNC machined 6061 aluminum, then black anodized before being laser etched with the Hybrid Racing logo for flair. These are NOT like other cheap reproduction shifter cables that are available. Each piece of this product has been engineered, tested, and verified for the best quality. Are these cables a direct replacement for my OEM Shifter Cables cables? Yes! The aluminum bushings simplify the installation, but more importantly, they remove another plastic part that tends to flex on the OEM cables, leading to a sloppy feeling shift. You will need to transfer all OEM grommets, seals or brackets to these cables before you install them. What is included with these shifter cables?The kit has two shifter cables, each with two cotter pins and clips for the shifter end. You will reuse your OEM center bracket and cable seal. These shifter cables are designed specifically for the 2003 Acura CL Type-S using the J32A2 engine and transmission. They may work on engine-swapped cars however it is possible they could be too long or short for the application, depending on the placement of the engine and shifter.
