A fair copy, no inscriptions or foxing beyond the flyleaf, illustrations good and strong, much smudging and staining but the text clean and easy to read. Hard cover blue cloth with gilt lettering, edge wear, faded colours. Spine missing and binding a little loose with all pages remain bound save a few, including one colour plate which is surrounded in aged sellotape (see picture). Not an ex-library book.
