Jean Wallace (1923-1990, born Jean Walasek in Chicago, Illinois) was an American actor, model and dancer with over 20 movies to her credit between 1941 and 1970. Wallace got her start as a model and as a dancer and chorine in ZiegfeldFollies in Hollywood before breaking onto the silver screen at age 17 with an uncredited role in Ziegfeld Girl (1941). She wasn't a memorable actor until her marriage to second husand Cornel Wilde in 1951. Wilde turned director in 1957 with The Devil's Hairpin, one of Wallace's last movies, and made it his mission to make her a star. She received plum roles in the Wilde movies Sword of Lancelot (1962), where she played Guinevere, Beach Red (1967) and her final movie appearance No Blade of Grass (1970). Lightly worn.
