Description: This is a really nice collection of Joe Montana covers from his Notre Dame days to his San Francisco 49ers Super Bowl successes. There are (6} Sporting News and (2) Inside Sports magazines here. The Sporting News September 1978 has a beautiful cover photo of Joe playing with the Fighting Irish. The November '81 issue has Joe with the 49ers on the cover along with Fred Dean. There are two issues from 1985. Both in January when the 49ers beat Miami in Super Bowl XIX, then two more in 1986, one in August and one in December. Michael Jordon has a small photo on the December issue as well. All the Sporting News mags are in excellent condition with only the usual newsprint yellowing. the two Inside Sports magazines have beautiful cover photos of Montana. August 1982 and January 1985 are both in excellent condition. If you collect Joe Montana, you will love to add these magazines to your collection.
