There is also the bottom half of an ad that is torn out. I have shown it in photos, but if you have any concerns, please contact me. If you zoom in, you can see the incomparably beautiful Sophia Loren’s mousse recipe. She has a bunch of other recipes in the magazine. I never knew that she has a cookbook, and I want to go find it, especially if the mousse recipe is any good! I can’t say enough good things about Ladies’ Home Journal. It’s become my favorite vintage magazine. It’s one of the only ones I can read cover to cover and get lost in. It’s a shame that they stopped publishing, but it’s wonderful that people held onto their copies and that they published for so long; it means there’s a big catalogue of them to read.
