A child prodigy born in Wisconsin, he enjoyed a career spanning four decades of concerts, recordings, television, motion pictures, and endorsements. At the height of his fame from the 1950s to 1970s, he was the highest-paid entertainer in the world with established concert residencies in Las Vegas and an international touring schedule. The item is also signed by George Liberace who was the elder brother and business partner of Liberace. He appeared regularly on his brother's syndicated television show in the 1950s as violin accompanist and orchestral arranger. This piece is particularly nice because of the piano artwork Liberace drew with his signature. I acquired this signature in a collection I bought at auction that had been authenticated.
