The unit does operate as intended, only the missing parts keep it from being a complete set. Unit latches securely onto track for worry free operation. Icing chute swings up and down properly. The icing car was not part of the original set and is not part of this sale. Look closely as there is no corrosion found on the electrical connectors. Otherwise this is equal to a new item. The building comes with original warranty card and listing of service centers. Because Lionel is so well established it will be a simple task to find the missing parts and complete the set.
