Description: This is an LEP MAC5000 microscope controller configured with x and y axis stage modules, and a fine focus control module. I have confirmed this system operates a stage (in my other auction). This controller does communicate with a PC. I only have the MAC6000 software so I am not able to do an in depth look at the system via software. The MAC6000 software will recognize this controller but is not compatible. Joystick is in excellent condition and works as it should. I do not know if the fine focus module drives a motor as I do not have a motor to test with this system. The fine focus module looks good. There is a null adapter in the encoder port. The jumpers and switches are configured for motor control without an encoder. This can be configured for encoder operation by changing the jumper settings (manual is available on the LEP website). Power cable and serial cable included. I will give a discount on this unit and stage if they are purchased together. I do not have original LEP stage cables but can include generic cables if the stage is purchased.
