Description: Maxfield Parrish's “Daybreak” (One of the various versions of the same title) Original 1951 Brown & Bigelow Christmas Greeting Card. It is also seen titled “Hunt’s Farm”. There are 2 creases, about 1 1/4” in the top left center of the print portion and a small stain in the right margin 1 1/2” down. Also, there is a small chipped portion off the top right corner of the frame. It is framed in a period Parrish frame and measures 7 1/2” x 6 1/4” There is a copy of the personalized greeting inserted in the back pocket. It was featured as the 1951 full B&B Winter calendar. It has been restored with acid-free backing, new hardware & dustcover in September, 1989 and ready for seasonal hanging or display on a plate rack as shown. You just don’t see many of these.
