Mego Astronaut Planet of the Apes Vintage Action Figure Original Belt/Helmet

Mego original 8" scale size action figure - Astronaut - Planet of the Apes!Original body: First release metal rivet T-1 body marked Mego. Joints all good, holds a pose and no cracks. Arms/legs held in place firmly with expert restringing using the same type of elastic cord as the original - stands nicely now. No splits in the plastic wrist joints (common issue on T-1s). Original head: Marked 1974. Clean with minimal paint rubs or wear to the head.Original clothing: Jumpsuit has a nice, even blue color overall with working zipper intact. It has very minor discoloration or spots - looks great. Original Mego boots have no splits or holes. Original helmet fits well on his head, has the working blue visor and original string, which is stretched out. There's some lines on the right side that appears to be a hairline fracture. Still feels smooth on the outside, but I can see the lines faintly on the inside too, so just handle with care. Tried to show it in the close up pics.Since we all have different definitions of "mint", "good" etc... check out the high quality pictures and make your own judgement of the condition.
