Description: Selling this original Michael Godard acrylic monochrome painting entitled "Once A Hero, Always A Hero" (produced in 2022). It is a lovely piece with an older version of one of his signature "olive" characters casting a shadow of his younger self in his military days. A great tribute to any veteran and particularly Vietnam vets given the imagery evocative of the Wall (Vietnam War Memorial). The piece is hand-signed and under plexiglass in a great frame that is a black-brown tortoise shell color with silver trim (see pictures for more details). The art is 11" by 14" and the total framed size is a little over 24.5" wide by 21.5" tall. Comes with the certificate of authenticity from Park West Galleries as well as a copy of their appraisal of the piece at $6,500. Will ship via UPS Ground, well-packaged in its original shipping box.
