Description: Armando Morales Sequeira (Granada, Nicaragua, January 15, 1927 - Miami, United States, November 16, 2011) was a Nicaraguan painter who has been recognized with the Ernest Wolf award as "Best Latin American Artist". Morales has exhibited his work internationally in different art galleries such as the Claude Bernard Gallery in Paris, the Museum of Modern Art in Mexico and the Belcher Gallery in San Francisco. In his country he is considered a relevant figure in the plastic arts. He was also a representative of his country to Unesco in the 1980s.
