Description: This is one of the more simple MR designs. My primary use for this model has been for commuting and travel. Works well as a Personal Item carry on (it will fit in most of the airline steel torture boxes unless you stuff the Bejesus out of it). It also rides well in a checked bag as a destination around-town bag. The more vertical design reduces the chances that you'll clock some foreigner while turning around in a subway train, thereby avoiding an international incident. MR did not choose to include a sternum strap on this model. I haven't found it to be a glaring omission on a 21 L pack of this configuration, though I wanted to point it out rather than have you purchase it expecting a sternum strap. I have found these to work well as a haul bag and as a clip-on harness bag for Via Ferrata, just as a side note. The panels are much more resistant to abrasion that I had expected them to be.
