Description: Part: New 1980-1990 Chevrolet Caprice Trunk Lock Cover Emblem Restore Overlay Condition: This precision die cut, outdoor grade vinyl overlay goes over the existing plastic inserts of the trunk lock cover emblem and restores it nicely and economically to what you see in the pictures. Last picture is the unrestored original. This listing is for the overlay only. Trunk lock cover is pictured as installed on a 1988 Caprice. Simply peel of the backing and slide into place and it is done. Installation instructions:Clean surface with soapy water and dry.Drop of dishwashing soap in a small glass of water. Mix.Apply enough solution to the surface to make it wet but not saturated.Peel off overlay and position into place. Squeeze out any air bubbles that maybe present with your finger, working from the center to the edges.Allow to air dry.Installation is complete. Note 1: The existing faded inserts must be in place for this to work.Note 2: For the hood ornament, 2 sets of 2 are needed.Note 3: For the each sail panel emblem, 1 set of 2 are needed.
