Description: BRAND NEW NORTHWEST 1970's LOGO uniform patch. This patch was issued by the company to be used for Northwest Airline company uniforms. These nice patches were unused and donated to the NWA History Center recently. A great gift for the airline buff or airline employee. Put it on a jacket, sweatshirt or T-shirt.... could also be framed. Whether you work for or retired from an airline, you'll like this collectible patch. Northwest was still operating as "Northwest Orient Airlines" and later changed to Northwest Airline Inc. This is a wonderful collectible uniform patch made by the airline. This nice patch is offered by the NWA HISTORY CENTER. The NWA HISTORY CENTER (a non profit organization) is located in Bloomington, Mn. They have preserved Northwest Airlines memorabilia and display it in their museum for the public to view. The NWA HISTORY CENTER has many historical items as far back as Oct.1, 1926 when NORTHWEST AIRLINES was founded by Col. Louis H. Brittin. The NWA HISTORY CENTER also has many items from the 13 airlines who combined to make Northwest. Northwest Airlines merged with Delta Airlines in 2008. The History Center occasionally receives duplicate donated items and items from other airlines. These items come from Northwest Airlines, airline collectors, estates, employees and retired employees.
