Description: I was fortunate enough to work at EMD when they were retiring folks early and tearing down the main factory. This brochure came from a retiree who saved EVERYTHING. He had tons of stuff, much of which I'm just starting to go through after 25 years. Most everything he had was brand new stored in file folders. In some cases he had multiples, in others, just one copy. As you can see from the photos, this brochure addresses EMD's London, Ontario facility, commonly referred to as "Diesel Division". Unknown to most folks, this facility manufactured Terex, GMC buses, locomotives, and light armored vehicles. Plant has long been shuttered with locomotive manufacturing moving to Muncie, IN.I didn't start going to this facility until the early 1990's as EMD was closing down the LaGrange, Illinois locomotive manufacturing. Up to that point, I really had no idea as to the scope of this plant.Brochure is NOS and has been stored in a file cabinet for over 50 years but it has a very light corner bump. It has 8 printed panels. I'm guessing that this was printed in either the 1960's or 1970's as it doesn't mention the LAV's. I have a number of other Diesel Division items that I have listed separately and will gladly combine shipping. I only ask that you request and invoice as that's the best method for combining shipping charges. I will ship this USPS with full insurance.
