Not Pong, 1977 Tele-Match 4 7707 *Tested*w/ Box+ OEM AC Adapter, in Great Shape!

Description: This Rare Vintage Tele-Match 4 (Concert Hall IV) Television Computer Game Console, Model Number 7707, with the Box and OEM Original A/C Adapter is in Better than Very Good Condition! The console was manufactured in 1977 in Hong Kong by Tele-Match Inc., a company based in Mundelein, Illinois. This company was basically a subsidiary of Magnavox, as all of their products were licensed by Magnavox. The A/C Adapter was not included with the purchase of this console; it had to be bought separately. It is branded Tele-Match Inc. and was manufactured in Orange, New Jersey by Jerome Industries specifically for these consoles. That makes this OEM Adapter quite rare. There are several scratches and a couple of wear marks on the console, mostly on the aluminum front panel. The sides and bottom have very few scratches. Please check the detailed photos. The box has some wear on the corners and lead edge of the front near the flap. The rear right-hand side edge has an impact crease. I have done my best to highlight these flaws in the photos. The box is in truly outstanding condition, in my opinion. This console has four different games on it: Tennis, Hockey, Handball and Solo. Solo is a single player game where the player can practice his or her skills, hitting the ball against a wall. Many of the early pong-style consoles did not have a single player game, and this is a great inclusion on the Tele-Match 4 Model 7707. The console works Perfectly! I am including an after-market RF Adapter that allows this unit to be connected directly to your TV using the Coaxial Cable connection. Please check the video that I have made showing gameplay of this great Pong-style console. The picture quality is extremely sharp and clear. No ghosting, snow or artifacts on-screen. The control knobs are smooth and responsive. The paddles move across the playing field smoothly and accurately. There is no video "Judder", as there seems to be in many of these vintage pong-style units. All of the switches and selector knobs work well. This console can also be operated with six C-Cell batteries. The battery compartment is remarkably clean! I doubt that the original owner ever installed batteries. The controllers are hard-wired to the console and the cables are about four feet long each. they are designed to be stored in compartments on the sides of the console itself. The cables are meant to be coiled up beneath the controllers, which then snap/slide into place on the console. It is a really tight fit. I think that it would be a mistake to coil up these cables and push them back into those compartments, due to the age of the console. I will be sure to wrap the controllers in bubble-wrap and keep them separated from the console so that the cables are not damaged.
