Description: OUR DESCRIPTION One Marked 29A #68 Upper Housing Lock (with NO KEYS) for an Older Western Electric Single Slot Payphone or It can also be used for the Vault Door on the Older Western Electric 3 Slot Payphone. It does show some rust here and there. This one is visually in Good Condition but still will be sold AS IS and Untested because I do not have the Keys for it. The Holes on Center measure approximately 2-3/8" Wide by 1-1/8" High. All 29A upper housing locks were keyed the same and were used by Bell Telephone in their specific areas around the country. This is a 29A #68 which was used in the St. Louis area in the country. This auction is for one lock that will fit the upper or lower lock space in your older W/E payphone. I also have other locks if you are looking for one for your city just, simply message me and I will see if I have yours available. I do know someone who can cut the keys for this lock as long as he hasn’t retired yet. If you need his information I will enclose it in the box before shipping but, you must message me that you will be needing it. Please keep in mind that once this lock is in place on the vault door or upper housing ONLY a small portion of the key hole area is visible and can be seen. These are for a W/E Payphone which has the coin return on the left, locks on the right.
