We absolutely love it: -top/lid has just enough of the tarnish removed to see the exquisite detail. -the body of the bucket is almost solid black/ deep dark grey with no dents that I can see - the bottom is shiny showing to rare Oneida USA stamp. -the glass liner shows no wear or cracks. This ice bucket does have scratches around the bucket. There is also a dent at the base. The handle on the lid appears to also have a scratch.
