Description: Miscellaneous Railroad Company 42Diner-ConSS-72 Passenger Car Interior KIT for the Con-Cor 72ft Smooth-Side Dining Car This kit fits the Con-Cor 72ft Smooth-Side Dining Car based on the window placement. The KIT consists of: 2 pieces to be glued together to create the interior. There may be a little filing required. “Super Glue” works well; but read warning below. The interior is designed for the installation of an LSW100 under the interior floor for car weight. (LSW100 is available separately). Seated and standing passengers will need to have their feet trimmed. The pilot model has 7 inches of LSW100 and weighs 6.7oz with an un-populated interior and Walthers trucks (a little heavy per NMRA RP20.1) Plan for your electrical wiring! Con-Cor cars have no locating protrusions to guide your installation. Carefully check the orientation of the interior before you glue! Bond the completed interior to the previously installed LSW with automotive weather stripping adhesive. Warning! Do not install the interior in the passenger car sooner than 12 hours after using “Super Glue”. Cyanoacrylate adhesives release fumes that will attack and permanently mar your windows and other surfaces. I attempt to provide the most accurate description possible.
