The Perkins 4.108 engine is used in both the marine and industrial applications. The Perkins 4.108 predecessor, the Perkins 4.99 and the Perkins 4.107, also referred to as the Westerbeke 40, are very popular as marine engines.We now manufacture this new injector as it is no longer available as an oem Perkins part. These injectors use a pintle type nozzle and should be replaced every 100,000 miles. Common symptoms are poor mileage and performance usually accompanied by knocking, rough running, excessive smoke under load and excessive smoke and rough idle on an overnight start due to nozzles leaking fuel. *IMPORTANT*Some of 4.107/4.108 injectors uses a coarse thread M8x1.75 Banjo Bolt.
