Apparently most of the countrys Black Poplars are to be found within a few miles of here ( see http://www.bucksmkerc.org.uk/whats-in-bucks-and-mk/search-for-a-species/black-poplar ) This view is on the road between Weston Turville and Stoke Mandeville. I think the latter of these two villages probably lays claim to this row of houses, though it is nearer the centre of the former.
