How I measure the holder: I lay it flat, I take a measurement from the top of the ribbon to the bottom ofthe holder for length. For the width I measure the holder when laying flat and empty. The Plastic Grocery Bag Rag Sock Holder Organizer can hold 30 to 50 and up tp 70 plastic grocery bags,depending on the size of the plastic bags and the size of the holder your purchase. I have design this holder with an open top for ease of use. Easy to put the plastic bags, rags or socks throughthe top and pull from the top. Easy to pull of the items through the elastic bottom.
