If short nipple stays in valve, carefully remove by using pliers at the center of nipple. Remove the 90° tube fittings. • STEP 4: Wrap short nipple with thread Teflon tape. Screw nipple into ½” FPT hole of feeder.Screw the new control valve onto other end of nipple. Tighten by hand, being careful not to overtighten. • STEP 5: Wrap 90° tube fitting with Teflon tape and screw into the control valve. Push compression nut over tubing end of elbow.
