Description: Set of two crassula from the quartz fields of South Africa, each presented in 2" pots. The seed-grown set includes Crassula columnaris from the Knersvlakte region and a large from of C. deceptor from the quartz fields north of Steinkopf. The former is seldom ever offered in cultivation, while the latter is typically sold as rooted divisions from the same mediocre clone. The individual C. deceptor offered here has been seed grown from my selection of chunky, exceptionally white clones with locality data. These plants are geared towards a Mediterranean Climate and are not suited for hot, humid environments or low desert climates with chronic 100F+ days and warm nights. They respond to moisture during the cool months and must rest during the summer, at which point there is no better substitute than more shade. As with almost all succulents from winter rainfall deserts, their metabolism is best geared towards mild days with nightly temperature drops into the 40s. As such, they do not make good houseplants. Plants will ship bareroot in one box with individual labels, unless in-pot is requested. If you would like to purchase multiple items from me, then please request an invoice BEFORE final checkout and I will combine shipping at a discount, otherwise I have to go back and issue partial refunds and it's more work. I usually ship within 3 business days, but I might stretch it out to 5 if I'm waiting to ship a batch of orders or for bad weather to pass. If timing is an issue, then let me know. I use my own shipping software apart from eBay. USPS Tracking provided upon request only. US sales only Thank you,Matt
