Description: Rare and wonderful 'London "The Bastion of Liberty'"' Vintage Map. This smaller version was Made in Great Britain by the acclaimed artist Kerry Lee. The map features a pictorial overhead view of London in all its glory in 1948. I do not know the year of this smaller version, however it is detailed below how the larger versions (40 x 50) were still available, which leads to believe this to be around 1949-1950. The map was Published by Pictorial Maps LTD. For the Travel Association of Great Britain and N. Ireland. The map was printed in Great Britain by Chromoworks LTD. Although the graphics have great vivid color and the map is still finely detailed, it has not been kept stored in the best way. The outside borders have rips and ruffles, and there is some brown spotting on a few outer areas. I do not see any previous pinholes or tape marks. The highlight of the map is still in pretty good shape for its age and appears to have been kept out of sunlight, as the map still shines with great detail. If framed properly the map would look great. Please see the photos for more details The map measures 27 x 22 inches.
