It measures about 1.25 inches (3.17 cm) across! Ammonites are cephalopods, like squid and octopi, except they had shells. Ammonites lived from 416 million years to 65 million years ago when they went extinct with the dinosaurs. Scientists have documented over 10,000 species of ammonite! The piece is natural with no repair or restoration! I count 5 partial or nearly complete Ammonites measuring about .3 to .6 inches!All of my items come with a Certificate of Authenticity!
