Description: SUMMARY: A rare possibly ex. military WW1 Nickel Swiss Soldiers Trench 15 jewels Pocket Watch from ca. 1916. The watch in its original case and with a white enamel dial. The watch is in full working order, recently cleaned and overhauled and with a two year mechanical warranty and comes complete with a presentation box. The buy it now price is a clear reflection of the rarity, stunning condition and long-term investment for this watch. THE DIAL: 99% mint, the white enamel dial with black Roman numerals and in bright condition. The dial with blue steel hands. Diameter is 42 mm. The crystal is also in excellent condition and retained securely. THE MOVEMENT: 100% mint, with finely finished gilt plated movement and a Bosley regulator, and blue steel screws. A cut two arm , with hairspring and Swiss lever escapement and balance cock. The watch with 15 jewels The watch is much brighter and crisp than in these dark photos, which are limited by my camera and lighting equipment. The watch is in very good working order for its age. THE CASE: 90% mint, the nickel plated case measures 48mm. The front and rear covers are excellent, both close nice and tightly. The case with rear cover showing signs of wear, small dents and possible removal of previous military inscription. the case marked, guaranteed pure solid nickle and case number of 152672. This is a high quality case, a work of art in its own right in crisp condition and of jewel like quality. The pictures show minor reflections and various dark marks, these are an artefact from the lighting and are not present in the watch case.
