About the TF2 1982 Toyota Pickup Detailed Hard Body The stunning hard body is molded in hard plastic to allow for detailed panel lines and a more "true to life" finish. Painted in white and red, this truck includes the iconic decals splitting the two tone paint job. This truck also includes the optional Marlin Front bumper that can be installed to protect the detailed Toyota Grille. Look inside the windows to see the molded interior. Pop the hood, and pull up the hood support rod to check out the molded engine bay. This thing is sick! Everything from the scale 22R engine, intake, carburetor, battery, vacuum brake booster, and so much more. Toyota 22R enthusiasts will want to ensure the firing order is set to 1-3-4-2. Chassis Design RC4WD wanted to ensure this truck would not just look the part but also perform the part. The leaf sprung chassis includes the helper springs and internal shock springs, however, they are not installed from the factory to allow for better drivability. The included shocks are now equipped with X-rings to allow for smoother movement. The chassis also allows for the optional front Marlin bumper to be attached, as well as the rear tube bumper. These bumpers are not installed from the factory but can be added to help protect the hard body. Durable Drivetrain The R3 single speed transmission uses a metal shaft to power the Hammer Transfer case. Two splined driveshafts deliver power to the updated Yota II axles. The front axle now uses two ball bearings and a longer lower screw to support the XVD outdrive. The front and rear differentials are locked to ensure constant wheel speed for off-road performance. Powerful Electronics Powering this off-road vehicle is the Outcry III Waterproof ESC. This ESC is capable of running on a 2-3S LiPo battery or a 5-9cell NiMH battery. The brushed 45T motor is designed to deliver smooth torque and good RPM speeds. A high-torque Twister Metal Gear Servo is used for steering and boasts 277.6oz-in of torque at 6.0V (305.3oz-in at 7.2V). The included transmitter allows for easy setup and driving of your TF2.
