However, his company eventually faded from the import and design business after his passing. ————- This knife is marked: R.J. RICHTOR SOLINGEN GERMANY ———————- CONDITION: This knife is probably from from the late 1940-1950’S…….. The knife has been used…carried…and sharpened. There are scratches….dings…..dents….and discoloration on the (6) functions. No rust. All functions have a strong snap. The knife is very tight. The standard screw driver requires an adjustment since it closes but requires a push to the left to close. I would leave it as is…..however, a new owner may elect to address the problem or just leave it as found. The knife is 60-70 years old ….. Considering its age it is in good condition. ——- The knife will come in a new jewelry box to keep it safe.
