Description: Pretty Post War vintage late 1940s / early1950s day dress is of a lightweight cotton in pink, white & blue check print. The short sleeved dress has gathering detail across the top of the shoulders, a small pointed collar, a button front opening to the fitted waist, side metal zipper opening and an A-line cut skirt with a knee length hem. The dress is unlined and slightly sheer against strong light (- you can always add a slip underneath). MEASUREMENTS: No size labels ... bust measures 35 inches (therefore fits a size 32 or smaller size 34 bust best), the waist measures 25 inches and the hips are free. The dress is 44 inches in length. Please remember as always, leave room for you when using these measurements to determine fit. There is no stretch to the dress. CONDITION: Very slight wear ... there is one tiny (the size of a pea) repair in the back of the skirt - the placement & pattern hides the imperfection ... overall, very good to excellent condition.
