Description: Romeo Gigli for Callaghan Vintage Purple Velvet Very Long Dress 1980S Rare Gorgeous dress for the holidays. Deep purple Silk velvet that drapes and shimmers. V-Neck buttons up the front with 7 plastic buttons and top snap. Deep 25 ½ inch slit opening in the back at the hemline. Sleeveless with armholes that measure 22 inches all around. From the bottom button the front of the dress is open for 20 inches to show off your legs and heels. Will sway and move when you dance, walk and twirl. Made in Italy. Size and fabric label is totally white and unreadable. The fabric is in very good condition with no issues: there are no open seams, holes or stains. As this is velvet there may be areas of rubbing which are not noticeable as the dress is very full and drapey and flowy. Across chest 17 inches There are seams allowing for some fullness. Across waist 24 inches when spread out but will simply hang on your body. Length from shoulder to hem 58 ½ inches. Please ask all questions prior to bidding as I do not take returns.
