Description: This is a Russian made porcelain doll of a Provincial woman wearing a summer dress from around 1840. She stands about 10 3/4" tall and 8" wide at the base of her skirt. Almost all of her clothing is made of a cotton-like cloth. The purple collar on her dress is trimmed with lace and her purse and bonnet is white satin. From the waist down, she is made of a cardboard cone. This beauty was made in St. Petersburg, Russia.
