Ensure you are wearing protective clothing and all care must be taken when heating and pouring lead. 2. Put scrap lead into saucepan and heat until molten (lead will normally melt at 650 degrees). 3. Once lead is molten use a cooking spoon to take away any impurities that have risen to the top. 4. Using lure wire form create a template to make more lure wire. 5. Take your lure wire and place within the mold. 6. Using the tongs grab tour mold carefully and have the pouring cavity to the top. 7. Pour molten lead into mold until cavity is full. 8. It is recommended that the mold be preheated before use, but it is not necessary. 9. Once mould has been heated up and your lesd is fully molten and clean you can proceed to pour the lead in to the cavity. 10. Wait 10 seconds and using pliers pull wire out then proceed to open mould. 11. Using your pliers snip the excess lead of the top of the sinkers. 12.
