The charming story of a semester in 1968 spent at Wesleyan University in Middletown, CT, by Fay and Lawrence Clark Powell, who had just been awarded a Fellowship at the Center for Advanced Studies by their friend and colleague, Paul Horgan, who loaned them his young cat, Colette - to their mutual delight. Paul Horgan was best known for his writings set in the American Southwest. He was awarded the Harper Prize in 1933 for The Fault of Angels, and twice won the Pulitzer Prize for History, first in 1955 with Great River: The Rio Grande in North American History and then again in 1976 with Lamy of Santa Fe.
