Description: This is a presentation copy which is a book inscribed by the author to someone else of importance to the author, the book, or society in general. The inscription says: For Ellen Kraftsow Kogan and Mark Kogan, with best wishes. Then the author’s signature and below that Philadelphia, Pa. 9/88. Ellen is a retired Bioethicist who lives in Rydal, Pennsylvania and is age 77. A Bioethicist is a professional who studies the ethical, social, and legal issues that arise in Biomedicine and Biomedical Research. The dust jacket is taped to the front and back covers and has some tears at the corners plus a decent size is missing at the back as you can see on the one picture. The covers are bumped at the corners. There is no tears, writing, underlining, or highlighting on the pages. I listed this in just good condition due to the piece missing from the dust jacket. Due to the value of this book I will have it inside a zip lock baggie, packed well, and you will need to sign for it by the delivery person or at your post office and I will pay for insurance for the full price.
