This DVD is in excellent overall condition and is a former library copy with typical markings; the disc plays PERFECTLY with some light scuffs on the back surface that do not affect play but no other significant imperfections; the booklet is also included and in excellent condition, and the plastic case has just very light shelfwear--it's NOT a cutout! The film is titled "The Browning Version" and it was issued by The Criterion Collection in 2005; the DVD is a full screen edition as originally screened with an audio commentary by film historian Bruce Eder, a 1958 interview with star Michael Redgrave, and more.Michael Redgrave gives the performance of his career in Anthony Asquith's adaptation of Terence Rattigan's unforgettable play. Redgrave portrays Andrew Crocker-Harris, an embittered, middle-aged schoolmaster who begins to feel his life has been a failure.
