EXCELLENT (EX): The CD has obviously been played and may have a few light scuffs or marks. Booklet may show some signs of use but no major damage or tears. VERY GOOD (VG): There are some normal light scratches or scuffs on the CD surface. Booklet shows signs of use (e.g. minor creasing) but no major damage or tears.
