We just picked up a pretty large beer can collection totaling 727 beer cans and 56 beer bottle labels. There are hundreds of different brands and virtually every beer can is straight steel and either a flat top or a pull top, sorry no cone tops. Many of them are unopened, but empty, and almost all of them were opened from the bottom. Several of the beer bottle labels match the beer cans, so we may sell them together.A number of the cans are in incredibly impressive condition with hardly an imperfection anywhere. We counted less than a handful of cans with dents and were truly impressed with how well the gentleman we purchased the collection from took care of these cans. We asked him if he drank all the beer and he confirmed that he drank almost all of them.We are not collectors and by no means grading experts. We only offer our opinion as to the condition of the beer cans, but we think you'll agree that most of these are from A1+ down to a 1- at worst. We'll let the collectors decide what condition they think they're in though.We'll be listing some cans individually and the rest in lots of varying sizes over the coming weeks, but it will definitely take quite awhile to get through all of them, so check back in our store under Breweriana. For sale is a group of three different beer cans, all brewed by S. Schmidt & sons, Inc. out of Philadelphia, PA, including a Schmidt's Light, Tiger Beer and Ram's Head Ale.All three pull tab beer cans are steel with closed tops.All three cans are in very nice condition and will display well, with no dents on any of the cans. The Schmidt's Light is the cleanest of the three. The Tiger Beer can has a few marks, but still displays quite well. The Ram's Head Ale has the most marks on it, but still isn't too bad.As stated above, we aren't expert graders, but take a look at the pictures above and we trust you'll agree these cans are in really nice condition and will display well.
