TOY STORY BUZZ LIGHTYEAR Star Command SPACESHIP--1995--THINKWAY--#62841 & Buzz

Description: This is a vintage Toy Story Buzz Lightyear Star Command spaceship toy from Disney and Thinkway Toys. It is the early model (probably from 1995 or 1996). The blue and white plastic space ship measures 6.5 inches (front to back) and 9 inches across with the wings open. We have included a jointed Buzz Lightyear figure from our collection which fits perfectly into the ship's cockpit. The spaceship has the following features:Press the red button to hear either Woody saying, "Buzz, Buzz, there's an alien!" or Buzz saying, "This is an intergalactic emergency! Buzz Lightyear to the rescue!", followed by the sound and rumble of the spaceship taking off.Press the green button to hear a dynamic space tune playing as the ship's headlight and taillights flash red and the dashboard inside the cockpit also flashes while the ship rumbles/vibrates.Pressing the blue button results in the sound of the spaceship taking off with the lights flashing and vibrations. The rumbling/vibration of the spaceship is strong enough to make it move slightly on a smooth surface, but is not full-on movement. This is a used toy that has typical signs of play--small scratches, dings, and marks. The discs for the disc launcher are not included with this offer. Without the discs, we were not able to test the disc launcher. Please check out all of our photos for condition. The toy uses 3 AA batteries which we have installed. With all of the lights, sound, and movement, this works best with strong batteries, and you will notice that the sounds start to weaken as the batteries wear down. PLEASE NOTE: We've found that battery replacement is a little tricky. We had to shift the batteries up and down a little in the battery compartment while pressing the buttons, until we got them in the right spot for the toy to work. Once correct placement of the batteries is achieved, it works well. This set is a must-have for fans of the much-beloved Toy Story movie/television franchise.
