The pink is a chenille yarn, so if you use it on the pink side it's like a chenille fabric with a beige/tan floral design and used on the reverse mimics a flocked fabric. This is a heavy upholstery fabric suitable for furniture. I measure the width starting inside the selvage, so the width is actually the usable part of the fabric.
