I would always display them at the beginning of the Fall season with the back side showing since they are perfect pumpkins all the way around. Then as the decorating came for Halloween and Thanksgiving, I would then turn them around :) . In this case, the fall leaves design on the backside would be displayed and then closer to the holiday I would turn it around to show the turkey. Great way to enjoy them out for a much longer period of time each year :) All the imperfections in the pumpkin are part of the realism of the piece. Very cool!
